A Call to Action

Imitate their faith in God

September 06, 2015

Let us remember and imitate the strong faith the Messenger of God had in the promises of what God can do.  This is why he never budged in his conviction, teaching the words of God, despite the many obstacles he encountered.  Persecution was on every side.   Opponents from different faiths ganged up on him to try and stop the work that was just beginning.  False ministers even emerged and opposed the teachings and endangered the faith of some.  Nevertheless, he bravely defended the Church.  .

Our Almighty God is the one that taught us that in order to prove our love to Him, we should love our brothers and sisters (I John 4:21 NIV). In regards to our offering, we “must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure” (II Cor. 9:7 NLT). Our Lord Jesus Christ said to the apostles, or His fellow ministers to “take nothing for the journey – no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt” (Luke 9:3 NIV). What do all of these commandments have in common?

Another Era of the Iglesia Ni Cristo

The thought that the Church would soon reach its 101st anniversary on July 27, 2015, reminded me of a new beginning, a new or Another Era (AE), a perfect timing for a renewal or change.

“EXPOSE THEM AND THEIR WORKS IN THE LIGHT” (EPHESIANS 5:11-19)

The expulsions being conducted left and right by the Sanggunian (Council) not only of the brethren and officers but even of the ministers, have sown fear to many. That is why despite learning of the stomach-churning truth regarding the corruption being committed by some ministers who are in power, some choose to remain silent and wait for change and for God to “act”. They are waiting for the “miracle” and hope that one day they will wake up and all of the corruption will end, that the corrupt ministers will no longer be in the seat of power, and those ministers will have received their due punishment from God and the church will be at peace.

ANG MAKABULUHANG PAGSAMBA

August 31, 2015
